Dear Supermom,
First of all, know that I destined you to be a mother and the highest calling you will ever have in your life will to be a mom. It’s not a small task. Your children will remember how you held them when they had their first heartbreak, gave them your last dollars in your pocket, nursed them back to health, and all the other sacrifices you have endured along the way. You matter so much in their lives. I love all my children and I love them so much I chose you to be their mother. No other mother on earth could love your children the way they uniquely need to be loved.
I would like to say that I think you are doing a great job with your kids. I knew you would do a great job when I decided to put life inside your womb. Some days you think you are a terrible mother and someone else would be better equipped for the job. It’s not the truth. You are a human being and it’s not easy sometimes. No one can quite handle making dinner for the family, maintaining a busy extracurricular activities schedule for the kids, bath time, and still keeping their sanity most of the time. I said most of the time because you lose your cool occasionally. When you become overwhelmed with life and it’s all too much, give me your burdens. Make time to spend with me. I will give you rest. Take time for yourself too. You deserve it.
“…For her worth is far more than rubies. She extends her hands to the poor. Strength and honor are her clothing; she opens her mouth with wisdom and kindness is on her tongue. Her children respect and bless her.” You are the absolute definition of the Proverbs 31 woman described in this verse from my word. You are compassionate, kind, and selfless. You have captivated me, my love. Learn to see my love for you in the feelings you have for your children. The way your heart beats for your kids is a mere glimpse of my heart beat for you. It doesn’t even compare. You are my beloved daughter.
Finally, I want you to remember that I am as proud as a father could be of his daughter. I love you. You are an incredible woman. You are Supermom.
Love,
God
