In case you were wondering what you could be wearing this fall, take a look at the styles coming your way. As per tradition, fashion designers showcased their fall collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The New York event, first of 4 major fashion shows around the world, was was held at Lincoln Center in New York City from February 11 through last Thursday, February 19. The European counterparts – London, Milan and Paris – are next.
The 2015 Fall fashion trends borrowed a lot from the 70’s with tailored kick-flare pants, turtleneck knits, and shimmering maxi dresses. While there were pops of bright color, especially tangerine, this season’s color palette was dominated by neutral shades of khaki, taupe, and camel, with touches of bold red and deep burgundy.
The winter silhouette incorporated capes from Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, and Lacoste, among others. The collections also included gorgeous winter coats and wool pullovers. There was also plenty of fur trimming coats, jackets, and stoles.
