Mike Tyson’s Abandoned House Becomes A House Of Worship

A church in Ohio in plans to convert Mike Tyson abandoned mansion and turn it into a church and a ministry center. Pastor Nick Dejacimo of The Living Word Sanctuary confirmed to various news media organizations the purchase of a 33,000 sq. ft. property that was once priced at $1.3m in the 90’s. The former boxing champ boxer was forced to declare bankruptcy in 1999.

The church indicated plans to incorporate a worship sanctuary, classrooms, youth center, children’s area and gym into the mansion. The skylights, arches, and windows in the pool area, it literally looks like a church. The old pool will be filled in and converted to the sanctuary according to a TMZ report.

The small congregation of 140 has saved 9 years worth of tithing donations in order to make the purchase. Hear some of the photos of the house
